Spansk politi hamstrer utstyr for å slå ned protester

    Cookies for the Police
    by David Tree
«Behind all the helmets, guns, batons, tasers, tanks (!) that now encase the police, is someone’s son. Someone’s beloved child.
Every time we try to resist the police state, in order for we ourselves to feel free and human, that «someone’s beloved child» is who gets threatened. That is someone’s husband. Some child’s father.

The elite is written for that person and us to hate and fear each other. The mother’s son has been trained by the government to fear us, trained to react aggressively, trained to be set at hair trigger. And on our side, all the videos on the internet reinforce our own fear or determination to face down, tough out, or beat this perceived representative of the corporate elite, dressed in near combat uniform.
Does following this crafted script of full out confrontation between people perceived as enemies, really make sense for how we want to be? And is it anywhere near the best way to change the country?

Yes, the police are out there shooting down people holding toy guns or mentally ill people who can’t explain a thing, but the police are scared to death and have been made to be. They could even be on drugs that make them more reactive and hyped.

We need to all take a deep breath and remember there is someone else, someone real, behind that uniform, someone who didn’t set out to destroy lives, and someone being used in really merciless way by those running this government and seeking to tear this country apart. They’ve dressed up the police in a way in which it is almost impossible for us to meet each other and in that way meant to look maximally threatening to us so we’d forget the human being behind all that crap.

We’re bigger than that. Our hearts are strong enough and loving enough to see the mother’s son inside that uniform who never planned to scare everyone or hurt anyone. And beyond seeing the human being in that uniform, without question, our hearts are strong enough and loving enough to hold this country together when the economy collapses and people need food, or when they try to pull that ebola false flag here and we see steadily through it.

Because the powers that once were are on the way out and there are loyal military waiting in the wings who will help us begin to put things back together. But in the meantime, when the truly sick powers throw their tantrums on their way out, we need to remember who we are at our best, who those men are who are dressed in scary gear but are loved by those who know them, and we need to step up and help them.

If we’ve been driving around thinking how to stand up to a police stop and have been armed for bear, why don’t we keep some home make cookies with us in our cars and be ready to offer them to any police who might stop us? Why not stop if we see a police car parked in in our town and go over and thank the policeman and acknowledge it’s damn hard time to be a cop or an American right now (we’ll make an immediate friend), and offer them some cookies?

Why not just step right out of the matrix spell of hatred between ourselves and the poor guys trying to make a living and trapped in a police state nightmare, too? Why not go to police stations and say hello, or call up the local police and just thank them and say we’re all in this together?

If we see what we’ll been boxed into doing, why not just tear up the elite’s vicious script and step way outside their concocted drama and understand that the police are other people’s sons and are being stoked with fear of us and go out each day not knowing if they will live through it? Once we see that game being played on us all, people might have come at Ferguson situation’s differently and not direct anger at the police but carry signs that this was planned by the Bushes and Rockefellers to get us to martial law, and no thanks.»
